Dear respected Soke/Hanshi/Shihan/Sensei and Fellow Karateka, We are excited to announce Sabah's first ever Karate Tournament in 2024! Hosted by Shotokan Karate Association and SKAS Management, we are pleased to invite all champs to return to the tatami for the 3rd SKAS Open Karate Championship 2022 in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah !

OUR GOAL
To provide the opportunity for karatekas of all ages to have access to a competitive, safe and
high-level international competition.
To provide a platform for our competitors to compete under the supervision of experienced, honest and competent referees and we intend to ensure that this championship will be a memorable one which will live up to their and our ideals in every way.
To provide all competitors, judges, referees from the karate community an event to not only nurture their abilities and talents but a space to grow peace, friendship and learn from each other in a harmonious
event
